Muhammad Aslam's Story

Life has been unkind to Aslam. He suffers from diabetes and lost his leg after a snake bite. Since then, he has not been able to continue his work as a laborer. We urge you to donate for Aslam’s Below Knee Prosthesis without any delay.

Muhammad Aslam, a 52-year-old resident of Rajanpur, has been dealing with diabetes most of his life. But his health worsened a year ago when he was bitten by a snake on his right leg. The snake bite caused severe wounds. He went to a local clinic for treatment and was treated symptomatically. He went to a public hospital and, upon evaluation, the doctors told him that they’ll have to amputate his leg below the knee level due to the spreading infection. Afterwards, Aslam reached out to Transparent Hands to get a below-the-knee prosthesis. It will help him get back on his feet.

Aslam was working as a laborer before this tragedy struck him. He lives with his wife and their nine children in someone’s house. He hardly manages to make ends meet. Paying for this expensive prosthesis without help from you is next to impossible for them.

Due to this condition, he finds it challenging to carry out even the most basic tasks. Aslam shared his distress with Transparent Hands in the following manner:

“My life has not been easy. I was a diabetic and now I’ve also become an amputee. We have been depending on others for financial aid and shelter. Since this incident happened, things have taken an even sadder turn. I don’t want to be a burden on others. Please help me.”

Now that Muhammad Aslam’s case has been registered with Transparent Hands, we are determined to help him get back on his feet. Therefore, we request you to be generous and donate as much as you can for Aslam’s Below Knee Prosthesis. Be the hope for this young man awaiting a life-changing prosthesis. Donate now and help him.

Muhammad Aslam's Story

Muhammad Aslam, a 52-year-old resident of Rajanpur, was bitten by a snake on his right leg last year. He went to the village pharmacy for emergency treatment, but his wound got worse. Then, he went to a local hospital. After a thorough evaluation, the doctor amputated his right leg due to a severe wound and gangrene. As he could not afford to pay for an artificial leg, he contacted Hope Rehabilitation Centre and Transparent Hands. His artificial leg was fixed on 20-07-2022 under the supervision of Dr. Khalid. Aslam has learned to walk with the artificial leg and can manage his daily tasks independently. Thank You For the Donations.
