Deen Muhammad's Story

Deen Muhammad, a 28-year-old man from Karachi, has been struggling with severe pain in his left leg, accompanied by prominent veins and noticeable swelling. His condition has gradually worsened, making it difficult for him to carry out his daily activities and work. Concerned about his symptoms, Deen consulted a doctor, who performed a thorough examination and diagnosed him with varicose veins in his left leg. Varicose veins are swollen, twisted veins that appear on the legs and are caused by weakened vein valves. The doctor recommended a surgical procedure, including stripping and ligation along with stab avulsions, to remove the damaged veins and alleviate his symptoms.

If Deen does not undergo the surgery soon, his condition may result in chronic pain, ulcers, and skin damage. The swelling may worsen over time, leading to increased discomfort and difficulty moving around. Additionally, it may cause blood clots, which can be life-threatening if they travel to the lungs or heart.

Deen lives in a small mud house with his wife and five children. He works as a daily wage laborer, earning a modest monthly income of PKR 20,000. With the increasing cost of living and family responsibilities, Deen is unable to afford the much-needed surgery. He has tried to manage his symptoms with over-the-counter treatments, but his condition continues to worsen.  During this time of need, Deen turned to Transparent Hands and asked for assistance.

Deen shared his emotions as follows:

“I work hard every day, but the pain in my leg is making it impossible to keep up. I cannot afford the surgery, but I need it to live a better life. I ask for your help to get back on my feet and have a healthy life. Please support me.”

We have registered Deen’s case and are committed to helping him get the required surgery. Your generosity can help restore his mobility and bring relief to his life.

Deen Muhammad's Story

Deen Muhammad, a 28-year-old man from Karachi, was suffering from pain in his left leg for quite some time. Along with the pain, his leg developed prominent, bulging veins and noticeable swelling that made everyday tasks challenging. As time passed, the discomfort worsened, preventing him from working efficiently and affecting his ability to support his family. Troubled by his symptoms, Deen received medical help and visited a local hospital. After a thorough evaluation, the doctor diagnosed him with varicose veins in his left leg. The doctor explained that without timely intervention, Deen’s condition could further deteriorate, leading to complications like an ulcer or blood clots. To relieve his pain, the doctor recommended a surgical procedure involving vein stripping, ligation, and stab avulsions.

However, Deen’s financial condition made the situation even more distressing. He lives in a modest mud house with his wife and five children. As the sole breadwinner, he works as a daily wage laborer and earns just PKR 20,000 per month. His income barely covers basic necessities like food and utility bills. There was no way he could afford the cost of the surgery on his own. Despite trying over-the-counter medicines and home remedies, his pain kept intensifying. During this time of desperation, Deen turned to Transparent Hands for support. After learning about his condition and financial background, we registered his case.

On February 13, 2025, Deen Muhammad was admitted to Murshid Hospital in Karachi, where Dr. Maryam skillfully performed the surgical procedure. The operation was successful, and Deen’s affected veins were removed. After post-operative monitoring, he was discharged on February 14, 2025, in satisfactory condition.

Deen expressed his heartfelt thanks as follows:

“I couldn’t even stand without pain. This surgery gave me a second chance at life. I’m beyond grateful to everyone who supported me and brought me relief.”

Today, Deen is recovering well and has returned to his daily routine with new strength.

He and his family are deeply thankful to you for making a significant difference in his life.
