Ambreen Bibi's Story
My wife’s health depends on every one of you. I feel all alone and helpless. With your contribution, blessings and wishes, she can lead a normal life again – Ambreen’s husband
I consider myself lucky to be blessed with such an amazing husband and my 5 loving kids. Every morning, watching them going to school and fulfilling their dreams makes me very happy. But now, my days are not same anymore. I’m unable to get up and take care of my kids. I don’t know how my husband is struggling to earn for us and also taking care of me and my children.
Around one year ago, I experienced severe abdominal pain and discomfort. I took medicine from a local pharmacy thinking it might be any stomach infection because of food. But it was something else. Days passed and my health worsened. I started vomiting and couldn’t do any work due to weakness and pain. I went to various clinics but didn’t get relief from anywhere. I finally underwent some tests and was diagnosed with gall bladder stones which needed surgical intervention. I requested a few local hospitals to conduct my surgery but they didn’t give any positive response to me.
My husband is working as a labourer and he is hardly earning 300 to 400 rupees a day. It’s impossible for him to pay for my surgical expenses from his pocket. One year has passed and I’m still fighting with this disease. My symptoms have gotten worse now and I’m not even able to take food due to vomiting and severe pain. When I finally came to know about Transparent Hands, I became hopeful to know that I can undergo required surgery free of cost. I’m scheduled for my Lap Cholecystectomy in a few days at Abid Hospital, Mian Channu but it’s not possible without your help.
I seek support from everyone reading this. Please donate for my surgery. I and my husband will be thankful and indebted for our lives to you for your help!
