Bashiran Bibi is a 43 years old woman who lives in a small town of Sahiwal with her husband and 6 school going children. Her husband used to work as a labourer but for last few years, he is unable to work due to his ischemic heart disease. This family relies on the income of their elder daughter who gives tuitions and earns around 3,000 rupees per month. In this amount, they hardly manage two-times meal. Their neighbors sometimes help them with food and groceries.

Around 3 years ago, Bashiran Bibi started experiencing lower abdomen pain. She went to a local hospital where she was diagnosed with Right Ovarian Cyst. Doctor recommended her to undergo surgery for the removal of cyst. She requested many hospitals for free of cost surgical treatment but didn’t receive any surgery date from them due to long waiting list. She doesn’t even have money to buy her medicines. Her health is deteriorating with each passing day. Due to severe abdominal pain and weakness, she is bedridden most of the time. Doctor advised her to undergo surgery as soon as possible otherwise she could face further health complications.

Bashiran Bibi 44 years old lady had lower abdominal pain for many years. She was diagnosed to have Rt ovarian cyst. She was advised surgery for removal of her cyst. Her Laparotomy and Rt ovarian cystectomy was done in Abid Hospital Mian Channu on 26-10-18 by Dr. Niaz Ahmed. She stayed for 3 days in hospital and had good post operative recovery. She was discharged in perfect health.
