Noor Qasim's Story

At the mere age of only three years, Noor Qasim has suffered the pain of a lifetime. Noor is in incredible pain right now. But, your help can relieve her of this pain. Therefore, we request you to donate for Noor Qasim’s Vesicolithotomy as much as you can.

Noor’s mother told us that, for the last year, she noticed frequent strains of blood in her urine. Moreover, she suffered from severe abdominal pain. After trying several home remedies, they took her to the hospital. After a thorough checkup and investigations, the doctor diagnosed Noor Qasim with Vesical stones. Vesical stones also called bladder Calculus, or cystoliths, are caused by a buildup of minerals. They can occur if the bladder is not completely emptied after urination. Eventually, the leftover urine becomes concentrated and minerals within the liquid turn into crystals.

To treat this, the doctor has advised Noor Qasim to undergo a vesicolithotomy. A vesicolithotomy is a surgery in which the surgeon removes the stones from the bladder. While this surgery is an easy solution to Noor’s conditions, it is not an accessible one. Unfortunately, her parents cannot afford the cost of this surgery. Her father works as a daily wage worker and hardly earns PKR 20000 per month. Noor’s mother told us:

“Noor is our youngest child, the apple of our eyes. It kills us when we see her crying in pain. We went to several local hospitals, but they told us to come after COVID is over. I ask you, when will it be over? My daughter is in so much pain. I cannot see her hurting anymore. ”

After a lot of distress, Noor Qasim’s parents have requested Transparent Hands for help. Her story has reduced us to tears. We wish to get this little angel happy and healthy as soon as possible. Now, all we need is your help. Please donate for Noor Qasim’s Vesicolithotomy

Noor Qasim's Story

Noor Qasim, aged 3 years, suffered from recurrent episodes of severe abdominal pain for the last one year. Her detailed medical evaluation revealed that she had vesical stones (stones in the bladder). The urologist advised an open vesicolithotomy surgery for her. For this purpose, Noor was admitted to Akram Medical Complex and the surgery was performed by Dr. M Bilal Mirza on 30th April, 2021. Her vesical stones were removed. She stayed in the hospital for three days and was discharged in a stable and satisfactory condition. Noor’s parents are beyond grateful since their daughter does not cry all night with abdominal pain anymore.
