Donate for Umar’s Plastic Surgery
Muhammad Umar's Story
At first, Muhammad Umar’s birth was celebrated for days. Close family and extended family partook in joy all the same. Little did they know that a gruesome incident would leave him handicapped. Nevertheless, all hope is not lost. Surgery can cure the deformity of Umar’s hands. Now, you can help them restore their joy. Therefore, donate for Umar’s plastic surgery now.
Muhammad Umar was hardly a year old when he crawled near a gas heater and grabbed the hot grill. The entire neighborhood heard his wailing cries. After the panic subsided and logic kicked in, his parents immediately took him to the hospital. Seeing the gravity of the burn, the doctor referred him to Lahore. Consequently, Muhammad Umar underwent immediate surgery at a public hospital. After the surgery, Umar’s wounds healed. However, his hands remained deformed. Currently, Muhammad Umar is suffering from bilateral post-burn finger contractures. A contracture is the tightening of the skin after a third-degree burn. When skin burns, the surrounding skin begins to pull together, resulting in a contracture. Therefore, it has restricted the movement of Umar’s hands.
To treat this defect, the doctor has advised Umar to undergo a contracture release and full-thickness skin grafting surgery. In this surgery, a layer of skin is harvested from one part of the body and reaffixed to the damaged area.
“The day my son got burned was the scariest day of my life. His cries were so loud. I felt as if the world was falling apart beside me. Thankfully, the nightmare is over. Now, all my son needs is a surgery that would restore the movement of his hands to normal. Please donate for Umar’s plastic surgery.” -Muhammad Umar’s mother.
Muhammad Umar’s treatment is expensive. So Umar’s father cannot afford it. After a lot of distress, he has registered the case with Transparent Hands. Please donate for Umar’s plastic surgery and help us release his discomfort.

Muhammad Umar's Story
Muhammad Umar, 1.5 years old, accidently burnt his hand six months ago when he touched the heater while playing. He suffered from bilateral hand deformity after the incident as he had pot-burn finger contractures. The plastic surgeon advised contracture release surgery along with full thickness skin grafting for the right hand first. For this purpose, Umar was admitted in Lahore Care Hospital and his surgery was performed by Dr. Imran on 11.02.2021. He stayed in the hospital for one day and was discharged in a stable condition. Umar’s plastic surgery was a success.
