Nazia Bibi is a 31 years old homemaker suffering from Multinodular Goiter for last 8 years. Initially, the swelling in thyroid didn’t hurt much but recently the gland has expanded causing pressure like symptoms.

She feels breathing difficulties while lying on the bed for which she has taken some medicines. She is feeling irritation in the affected area and has lost much weight within this time period. She experiences tremors very often and stays fatigued all the time.

They went to many local hospitals for treatment but medication couldn’t give her permanent relief. Finally, doctors advised her surgery but her husband is not financially well enough to pay for the costs that are completely beyond his reach. They came to know about Transparent Hands from their neighbor who was also a previous patient of TH and contacted us to get free treatment.

Her husband works as a salesman in an electronics appliances shop and hardly earns 13000 PKR per month. She has 2 sons and 2 daughters and all of them are studying at school except her 5-year-old son.

Nazia Bibi 31 years old lady had swelling in neck for many years. She was diagnosed with Multinodular Goiter. She started experiencing difficulty in breathing due to neck swelling and was advised Thyroidectomy for this condition. She was operated on 19-03-19 at Akram Medical Complex by Dr Ahmed Fawad. Her Subtotal Thyroidectomy was done. She remained alright during her post operative period and was discharged symptom free after three days of hospital stay.
