Shahid Saeed lives in a small town of Sheikhupura with his wife and 5 school going kids. His family is residing in a small house where 3 other families are also living. Shahid used to work as a lawyer’s assistant earning only 15,000 rupees a month. But for last few months, he has been suffering from severe chest pain due to which he is unable to work.

Around one month ago, Shahid experienced heart attack. He was taken to the hospital in emergency where he was diagnosed with Triple Vessel Heart Disease. Doctor advised him to undergo Open Heart Surgery (CABG) to treat the disease. Shahid requested the local hospital for free surgery as he doesn’t have any money to pay for the surgical expenses. Doctor has put him on a long waiting list but Shahid cannot wait for such longer period. His health is deteriorating with each passing day. He experiences severe pain, weakness and difficulty in breathing due to which he is not able to walk or even perform his day to day activities. A previous patient of Transparent Hands advised him to come here for his case. Transparent Hands got him checked and registered his case.

Shahid Saeed's Story

Shahid Saeed 42 years old man experienced severe chest pain 1 month ago which was treated as minor heart attack. His percutaneous angiography was done and he was diagnosed as a case of Ischemic heart disease. He was advised open heart surgery - coronary artery bypass graft (CABG). His surgery was done in National Hospital on 30-08-18 by Dr. Ahmed Shehzad. His operation was successful and he was discharged in good health.
