Sonia Mojeed's Story
“Have you ever wondered what it feels like, not being able to walk properly or at all?”
Here is a 25 years old Sonia Mojeed –who is fighting hard despite of no hopeful sight ahead having no weight in her pocket.
Sonia is suffering from Osteoarthritis since past 4 years. She is unable to walk. Moreover, she is experiencing pain, loss of flexibility and a little bit of grating sensation. Her initial treatment was done from a local hospital but doctors recommended her to go for a surgery. The cost of which is unaffordable for her.
Sonia has 5 siblings –two elder brothers, one elder sister and one younger sister all are married. Her father has passed away long ago. Therefore, she lives with her mother and brother. Her brother is the sole breadwinner of the family. He is a rickshaw driver by occupation and earns about 15,000 PKR a month.
Soon when Sonia got to know about Transparent Hands she considered visiting our office and shared her medical history with our doctors. Her first surgery was carried out on 3rd July, 2019. Now, she is scheduled for her second surgery that is waiting for your help.
Donate for Sonia so that she could live her independent life without depending on anyone.
