Ansar Mehmood's Story

Ansar Mehmood, age 40 years, is experiencing severe pain in his right lumbar area due to a right ureteric stone. Two years ago, in an attempt to resolve this problem, his ureterorenoscopy (URS) was done but it was unsuccessful. Now, his right ureterolithotomy has been planned for the removal of the stone.

Ansar works as a gardener, earning a salary of just 13,000 PKR/month. With his income, he not only has to support his wife and three small children but also has to contribute to the shared expenditures of the joint family household of 18 members that he and his family live in. He cannot possibly afford the expenses of his surgery and needs our help to get it done.

“I was recommended to come to TH by a friend who had also received help from here. I was really encouraged by his story and I hope and pray that TH and its supporters can extend the same help to me.” – Ansar Mehmood

To assist Ansar with his medical costs, we need your support. Please help us cover the expenses of his surgery. It does not matter how big or small the contribution is because every little bit counts!
