Muhammad Husnain's Story

“If left untreated, this condition could cause my son great distress later on in life. I wish I had the means to get him the best medical attention right now.” –Husnain’s Father.

4 year old Muhammad Husnain was born with Distal Penile Hypospadias, a condition which entailed an abnormal urinary opening and penile deformity. He has problems passing urine and needs corrective surgery- a urethroplasty.

The family has made several trips to local hospitals. Since the surgery requires specialized expertise, they haven’t had much luck finding treatment. Private hospitals are beyond their financial reach. Husnain’s father is a laborer who earns around 18,000 PKR a month and has 10 family members to support. The family lives in a house that has been lent to them by their landlord.

His father visited Transparent Hands for help and requested a free procedure for his son.

This corrective surgery could greatly improve Husnain’s life
