Muhammad Naseem's Story

A man hustles his entire life just so he could spend some leisure filled days in his old age. Unfortunately, the rule does not apply to Muhammad Naseem whose hustle just does not seem to end. For the past two months, Muhammad Naseem had been feeling tightness and slight pain in his chest. At first, he did not pay any heed to it but slowly the pain increased. Upon check-up, he was referred to a cardiologist.

After thorough examination and ECHO, ECG tests, the cardiologist advised him to undergo an Angiography – an imaging test used to visualize the arteries of the heart. As per the results of Angiography, Muhammad Naseem will go through a procedure of PCI. Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) is a non-surgical procedure to improve the blood flow to the heart.

Muhammad Naseem works as a shopkeeper in his local vicinity and hardly earns PKR 14000 per month. He has five children and all of them are financially dependent on him. Muhammad Naseem has circled back and forth to the local hospital in search of free treatment. All of his savings were spent on his ECHO, ECG tests and he is in no position to bear the cost of his treatment.

“In the last two years, two of my friends passed away due to heart disease. Despite being under the constant shadow of death, I cannot imagine it. I have so many responsibilities. What will become of my children? My wife? There are far bigger things to worry about than death.” -Muhammad Naseem

Through his doctor, Muhammad Naseem has requested urgent help from Transparent Hands. We are determined to get Muhammad Naseem back on track of a healthy life by arranging his cardiac procedures for him. We need your earnest help for that. Please donate to Muhammad Naseem for his cardiac procedure and donate as much as you can.
