Muhammad Farhan's Story

Muhammad Farhan was born with a complex cardiac malformation. It is a life-threatening heart disease that requires cardiac surgery. He is a little child with many unfulfilled dreams. His family is unable to afford the hefty cost of this major surgery. Farhan awaits Open-Heart Surgery and it will only be possible with your support. Even a donation as small as $10 can give him a chance to live a healthy life.

Four-year-old Farhan, a resident of Vehari, suffers from shortness of breath and cyanosis. He is also unable to gain weight. His parents learned about his condition when he was one year old. They took him to the local hospital. After the diagnostic tests and evaluation, he was diagnosed with Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF). This congenital heart defect is typically defined by a combination of four anatomical abnormalities of the heart. Only an open-heart surgery can save the lives of patients who have this condition. The cardiac surgeon advised him to undergo Open-Heart Surgery for Total Correction after Angiography.

He lives with his parents and three siblings in a rented house. His father is the family’s sole earner and earns only PKR 20,000 per month. They have no other source of income. With all these financial constraints, his father can’t pay for the expensive cardiac surgery. This innocent child can’t express his painful condition, and his parents feel helpless. With a heavy heart and teary eyes, his father said:

“Our whole world felt like it was caving in when we learned about his painful condition. He needs surgery to survive. I request kind-hearted donors to come forward and save my son’s heart. “

His father contacted Transparent Hands to register his case. We are determined to provide him with the best treatment. Farhan awaits Open-Heart Surgery and it will only be possible with your generous donation.
