Humna Farooq's Story

Humna Farooq is a bright-eyed and resilient 5-year-old girl from Bahawalpur, Pakistan. Despite her tender age, Humna is facing a daunting battle with severe respiratory distress and cyanosis, leaving her in desperate need of immediate medical intervention. Her physical examination reveals alarming signs of hypoxia, hypotension, and tachypnea. After a thorough diagnosis, the doctors have identified her condition as Total Anomalous Pulmonary Venous Connection (TAPVC) with Pulmonary Stenosis (PS). Time is of the essence, and Humna urgently requires a complex surgical procedure called TAPVC Repair and Pulmonary Valvotomy to ensure her chance at a healthy life.
