Maimoona is just one and a half years old, but she has been facing a deadly heart disease since birth. Her parent’s are in great distress because they cannot afford the treatment their daughter needs. We request you to make a donation for Maimoona’s open heart surgery and save her life.
Maimoona Nazok, a resident of Rahim Yar Khan, was suffering from dyspnea on mild exertion along with cyanosis. Upon consultation, the doctors recommended multiple diagnostic tests. When the test results came out, Maimoona was diagnosed with Transposition of the great arteries (TGA). Transposition of the great arteries (TGA) is a severe type of congenital heart defect. In this condition, the two major arteries that carry blood away from the heart aren’t connected as they should be. They are reversed (transposed). The doctor advised her to undergo Angiography followed by Open Heart Surgery for senning operation.
Maimoona’s father is a salesman with a meager monthly income. They have no financial support from any friends or relatives. They completely depend on their father’s income for their basic needs. In such circumstances and with a family of five to support, it is impossible for them to afford the cost of this procedure.

Maimoona Bibi's Story
One-and-a-half-year-old Maimoona Bibi, a resident of Rahim Yar Khan, had been suffering from shortness of breath and cyanosis on mild exertion since birth. She was also very weak and failed to gain sufficient weight. Upon consultation and after some diagnostic tests, she was diagnosed with complex cardiac conditions, including Transposition of the Great Arteries (TGA) and Interventricular Septum (IVS). To fix these defects, the cardiologist advised surgical intervention. For this purpose, Maimoona was admitted to Ittefaq Hospital, Lahore, and her open-heart surgery for Senning was performed by Dr. Asim Khan on 25.05.2022. She stayed in the hospital for seven days and was discharged in a stable condition. Maimoona’s health has improved a great deal since her surgery.
