Arham Ali 's Story

Arham’s congenital heart defect is life-threatening and urgently requires total correction surgery. His condition is deteriorating by the minute, and open-heart surgery is his only hope for a healthy future. We urge you to donate and save Arham’s little heart to give him the chance at a healthy life full of opportunities.

One-year-old Arham, a resident of Muzaffargarh, has been suffering from cyanosis, shortness of breath, and episodes of chest pain. His parents recently noticed his deteriorating health and took him to the hospital. After the diagnostic tests and evaluation, he was diagnosed with Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF) with severe cyanosis. This birth defect in the heart is usually described as a combination of four anatomical abnormalities of the heart. Only open-heart surgery can save the lives of patients with this condition. The cardiac surgeon advised him to undergo Open-Heart surgery for total correction after angiography.

He lives with his parents and six family members in a small house. His father is a daily wager who earns PKR 55,000 per month. With his limited income, he struggles to meet all household expenses. He is unable to pay for his son’s surgery. In a depressing tone, his father said:

“It is unbearable to consider losing my son at such a tender age. Please consider making a generous donation to help us get his life back to normal. With your support, we can give him the opportunity to live a full, healthy, and happy life.”

His father reached out to Transparent Hands in order to get his son’s case registered. We are determined to provide him with the best care possible. No matter how insignificant you think your contribution is, it will make a huge difference in his life. We implore you to support and save Arham’s little heart to help us bring hope and healing to this innocent child.

Arham Ali 's Story

Arham Ali, an adorable one-year-old from Muzaffargarh, had been grappling with the challenges of cyanosis, shortness of breath, and recurring chest pain. Concerned about their child's deteriorating health, his parents wasted no time and rushed him to the hospital. Following a series of diagnostic tests and evaluations, the doctors delivered a heartbreaking diagnosis: Arham was suffering from Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF) with severe cyanosis—a congenital heart defect characterized by four distinct abnormalities. The only solution to save Arham's life was through open-heart surgery for total correction, preceded by angiography.

With the weight of despair heavy upon them, Arham's family sought a lifeline, and that's when Transparent Hands stepped in. Recognizing the urgency of Arham's situation, we extended our support to provide the financial assistance they desperately needed.

He was admitted to the University of Lahore Teaching Hospital in Lahore. There, under the skilled hands of Dr. Jamal Nasir, the much-needed operation to repair his Tetralogy of Fallot and close the ventricular septal defect (VSD) on 12-08-2023 took place. Throughout the procedure, the medical team showed exceptional expertise and care, ensuring Arham's well-being every step of the way.

Following the surgery, Arham's recovery progressed remarkably well. After a seven-day stay in the hospital, he was discharged in a stable condition, bringing immeasurable relief to his family. The symptoms that had plagued his life were now being replaced by hope and the promise of a brighter tomorrow.

The Pakistan Children's Heart Foundation and the compassionate donors contributed together to make this surgery possible. Arham's family expresses its deepest gratitude to all the donors who selflessly contributed to his treatment. Your generosity has not only saved his life but has also given him the chance to grow up healthy and pursue his dreams.

Arham's journey serves as a powerful reminder that no challenge is big when we come together with hearts full of compassion. Our kind-hearted donors have made a profound difference in the lives of this precious child and his family.
