Gulshan Muhammad Tayyab's Story

Gulshan is experiencing excruciating and indescribable abdominal pain that persists every day, making her life a constant struggle. The pain not only affects her physically but also takes a toll on her emotions, leaving her feeling helpless and isolated. Fortunately, there is hope through a laparoscopic cholecystectomy, which can offer her a chance to live a pain-free and happy life. Sadly, she faces the challenge of affording this essential surgery, putting her dreams of a healthy and joyful life at risk. We urge you to donate generously and support Gulshan’s laparoscopic cholecystectomy.

Gulshan, a 30-year-old resident of Karachi, has been suffering from episodes of upper abdominal pain for the past two years. She went to the local clinic for an initial check-up. The doctor prescribed some painkillers to relieve the pain. However, she was not cured. She went to another hospital and underwent some diagnostic tests. Upon evaluation, she was diagnosed with gallstones. The doctor advised her to undergo a laparoscopic cholecystectomy. It is a surgical procedure that involves removing the gallbladder using small incisions and specialized equipment called a laparoscope. It is commonly used to treat gallstones and gallbladder inflammation.

She lives in a rented house with her husband and four children. Her husband is a teacher in a Madrassa who earns just PKR 15,000 monthly. He cannot afford to pay for the surgery on this limited income. Gulshan said in a depressed tone:

“The thought of enduring a lifetime of unbearable pain is simply beyond my tolerance. It feels as though I have already suffered a lot. Your support can make a life-changing difference by enabling me to undergo the cholecystectomy surgery I desperately need. I humbly request your financial assistance to help make this crucial step towards a pain-free future a reality.”
