Since birth, Syed Subhan Ali suffered from repeated chest infections. Moreover, he often suffered from cyanosis as well. After testing and diagnosis, Syed Subhan Ali has been suffering from an atrial Septal Defect. ASD refers to a condition in which a hole exists in the cardiac septum that separates the upper two atrial chambers. This cardiac defect can lead to serious consequences. Therefore, to treat this condition, the doctor has advised Syed Subhan Ali to undergo a Device Occlusion procedure in which his hole will be closed via a device.
Unfortunately, due to financial constraints, Syed Subhan Ali’s family can not afford this surgical procedure. Unfortunately, his father cannot afford the hefty cost of Subhan’s Device Occlusion. Subhan’s father works at a private company and hardly manages to earn PKR 25000 per month. He hardly earns PKR 25000 per month. With this measly income and a family of five to raise, he is in no position to arrange for Subhan’s Device Occlusion. He told us:

Syed Subhan Ali's Story
Syed Subhan Ali, aged 4 years, a resident of Sahiwal suffered from high-grade fever. After symptomatic treatment, the fever was not coming down. His parents took him to the hospital and after getting his Echo test results, the doctors diagnosed him with an Atrial Septal Defect (ASD). ASD is a hole in the wall between two upper chambers of the heart. The cardiologist advised device occlusion for him. For this purpose, Syed Subhan Ali was admitted to Ittefaq Hospital and his device occlusion was done by Dr. Najam Haider on 19.07.2021. Syed Subhan stayed in the hospital for one day and he was discharged in a stable condition.
