Amina Yousaf’s heart is working fine

Amina Yousaf's Story

Amina Yousaf, aged 9 years, a resident of Sheikhupura was suffering from very slow physical growth. On medical consultation, she was diagnosed to have a heart defect called Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA). The pediatrician advised device occlusion of PDA for Amina’s treatment. For this purpose, she was admitted to Ittefaq Hospital and her device occlusion was performed by Dr. Najam Hyder on 2.09.2021. In this surgery, Amina’s heart defect was closed. Her hospital stay was of three days, and she was discharged in a stable condition. Amina Yousaf has recovered quickly post-surgery.
