Ayesha is Thankful to You For Providing Her with a New Hearing Aid

Ayesha Nazakat's Story

Ayesha Nazakat, a 21-year-old woman from Mandi Bahauddin, had been living with sensorineural hearing loss since birth. From an early age, she struggled to hear and communicate with those around her, which affected her daily life and learning abilities. At the age of seven, she was provided with a hearing aid that greatly improved her ability to listen and communicate. Ayesha is currently a college student and depends on her hearing aid for her education. After years of continuous use, her hearing aid gradually stopped functioning properly. Concerned about her condition, Ayesha consulted her doctor for a detailed evaluation. After examining her hearing and the faulty device, the doctor advised her to get a new hearing aid. Unfortunately, the cost of a new hearing aid was beyond the financial capacity of her family.

Ayesha lives in a modest home with her parents. Her father runs a rented grocery shop in a village and earns only PKR 40,000 per month. His meager income barely covers their household expenses, utility bills, and other necessities. Given their financial situation, they could not afford Ayesha’s much-needed hearing aid. During this difficult time, Ayesha’s family reached out to Transparent Hands. After carefully reviewing her medical reports and financial condition, we registered her case.

On March 31, 2026, Ayesha received a STARKEY EVOLV BTE 2000 Power Plus Hearing Aid with an earmold (LNSS Enterprises). The device was installed under the supervision of Dr. Aqsa Tanvir. Complete fitting, adjustment, and testing of the device were successfully carried out.

Ayesha shared her feelings as follows:
