Bilal’s final surgery went well.
Muhammad Bilal's Story
Muhammad Bilal’s (3.5 years old now) back passage was absent when he was born. He was diagnosed with anorectal malformation and his colostomy stoma was made soon after his birth. His surgery to construct the back passage (posterior sagittal anorectoplasty -PSARP) was performed with the help of Transparent Hands. Lastly, the surgeon recommended a final colostomy reversal surgery to restore the continuity of his intestine. For this purpose, he was admitted in Lahore Care hospital and the surgery was performed by Dr. Sajjid Nayyar on 13.11.2020. Bilal stayed in the hospital for five days and was discharged in a satisfactory condition. Now, his back passage is functional after the final surgery.
“My son has had uncountable hospital visits. I am so glad that the doctor has performed the final surgery. We are very grateful to each and every donor.”– Muhammad Bilal’s mother
