Fida’s Heart is Saved Now

Fida Hussain's Story

Two-year-old Fida Hussain, a resident of Mirpur, had been suffering from severe congenital cardiac defects. Upon consultation, he was found to have Dextrocardia and a Double Outlet Right Ventricle with Transposition of Great Arteries. The doctor advised an Open Heart Surgery for CP Shunt placement. Therefore, he was sent to Ittefaq Hospital on 23-02-2022 to get his procedure done by Dr. Muhammad Asim Khan. This surgery was supported by Pakistan Children’s Heart Foundation. Fida’s Heart has been saved.
