Huzaifa Sohrab's Story
Four-year-old Huzaifa Sohrab, a resident of Buner, had sensorineural hearing loss since birth. The doctor advised cochlear implant surgery upon consultation. He was admitted to Ali Medical Centre, Islamabad, where Dr. Jawwad Ahmed performed his operation on 11-06-2022. He installed the internal component of the cochlear implant successfully. He was discharged after one day of stay in the hospital. After six weeks, the external component of his cochlear implant was installed. He can respond to his name now.
