Muhammad Arman’s Heart Surgery was Successful
Muhammad Arman's Story
One-and-a-half-year-old Arman, a resident of Okara, had suffered from shortness of breath and cyanosis since birth. After the diagnostic tests and evaluation, the doctor diagnosed him with complex congenital heart conditions, including Double Outlet Right Ventricle (DORV), Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF), Major Aortopulmonary Collateral Arteries (MAPCAs), and Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA). The cardiac surgeon advised him to undergo Open-Heart Surgery for Total Correction. He was admitted to Ittefaq Hospital, Lahore, where his operation was performed successfully by Dr. Asim on 16-11-2022.
His Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD) was closed and the Right ventricular outflow tract (RVOT) resection was done. He was discharged from the hospital after thirteen days of stay. We are grateful to our donors and PCHF for their invaluable support. Arman is on the path to a speedy recovery now.
