Shoaib had an ear surgery

Shoaib Khan's Story

Shoaib Khan, aged 19 years, suffered from left ear discharge. His sense of hearing also decreased. On medical consultation, his condition was diagnosed as chronic suppurative otitis media (CSOM) for which the doctor advised surgery. For this purpose, Shoaib was admitted to Maryam Memorial Hospital and his tympanoplasty was performed by Dr. Nasheed on 18.06.2021. His tympanic membrane was repaired. Shoaib’s hospital stay was of one day and he was discharged in a stable condition. He has been advised follow-up care and is slowly recovering from his surgery.
