Younus Nazeer's Story

Younus Nazeer, a 55-year-old resident of Lahore, had been suffering from chronic diabetes due to which he got a diabetic foot. Two years ago, his foot got infected with gangrene. The doctors advised him to undergo a right above knee amputation. After the right above knee amputation, Younus Nazeer was unable to run his daily errands. It has been two years since he underwent this trauma. He required a right above knee prosthesis to perform his normal daily activities. He was sent to Hope Rehabilitation Center where he received his new prosthetic leg after consultation with Dr. Khalid Niazi on 24.12.2021. He is undergoing therapy now as advised by the doctors and he will be able to walk normally again soon.
