Chandar Hari's Story

Chandar awaits a Tonsillectomy. Before you read the story, we want to tell you that you can send help to little Chandar Hari by clicking the ‘Donate Now’ button below. Chandar awaits a tonsillectomy. Help us ease his life by donating for his surgery.

Chandar Hari, aged 10 years, a resident of Mirpur Khas fell prey to frequent fevers 1 years ago. Moreover, Chandar Hari also suffered from sore throat, pain, and congestion. At first, his parents did not pay any heed to it. However, gradually, his condition worsened. His parents took him to a local clinic where the doctor tried to treat him with medicines. Chandar willingly obliged to the medication, but it went in vain. After that, his parents took him to the hospital, where the doctor diagnosed him with chronic tonsillitis. Chronic tonsillitis is a persistent infection of the tonsils that often results in recurrent fevers and sore throats.

Consequently, the doctor has advised Chandar Hari to undergo a Tonsillectomy. Tonsillectomy is a surgical procedure in which the doctor surgically removes the tonsils. Unfortunately, Chandar Hari’s parents cannot afford the hefty cost of a Tonsillectomy. Chandar’s father works as a gardener, and he hardly manages to earn PKR. 10,000 per month. With a family of three to raise in this income, it is almost impossible for him to save for Chandar’s surgery. Now, we wish to help Chandar in every way he needs. Chandar told us:

“Ahmad is my neighbor and my best friend. We used to go to school every day but nowadays due to this disease, I cannot go to school. He learnt 5 more poems than me. However, I will cope up with him as soon as I am better. I am getting weaker day by day because I could not eat because of the pain. I hope Transparent Hands can help me and I can go to school with Ahmad.”

After a lot of distress, his parents have registered his case with us. We have assured Chandar that he will get better in no time. As Chandar awaits a Tonsillectomy, therefore, we request you to please donate for Chandar Hari’s surgery and help us fulfill our promise.
