Three years old Muhammad Ibrahim suffers from four cardiac disorders including TGA, DORV, and VSD. TGA is a birth defect of the heart in which the two main arteries carrying blood out of the heart get switched. Moreover, in DORV, the pulmonary artery, and the aorta — the heart’s two major arteries — both connect to the right ventricle. VSD is a birth defect of the heart in which there is a hole in the wall that separates the two lower chambers of the heart.

Therefore, now the doctor has advised Muhammad Ibrahim to undergo an open-heart surgery with CP Shunt for permanent relief.

Unfortunately, Muhammad Ibrahim’s parents cannot afford the hefty cost of his open-heart surgery. Ibrahim’s father is studying. Therefore, their grandfather is responsible for running the household on a pension of PKR 12,000 per month. Three years old Muhammad Ibrahim, a resident of Bhakar was previously diagnosed with Transposition of Great Arteries, and Ventricular Septal defect. The cardiac Surgeon advised for Open Heart Surgery after assessment of heart arteries by Angiography. Hence , Muhammad Ibrahim was admitted to Ittefaq Hospital for this procedure. Ibrahim’s Angiography was done on 8-09-2021. After his procedure the decision of open heart surgery for BT shunt was deferred. He was treated medically and discharged the same day in a stable condition. Because of your assistance, Muhammad Ibrahim’s Angiography was made possible.
