Give For Yasmeen Nadeem’s C-section

Yasmeen Nadeem's Story
Yasmeen Nadeem, a 38-year-old woman from Karachi, is currently expecting her fifth child. She is 30 weeks pregnant and is excited to hold her baby in her arms. After some follow-up visits with her gynecologist, she was told that she would need a C-section this time, too. Given her history of four C-sections in the past, it would be risky to continue with the natural delivery process. Therefore, a C-section is necessary for the safety of both the mother and the baby. However, the cost of the C-section is overwhelming for her family.
Not undergoing a C-section after multiple previous ones can significantly increase the risk of uterine rupture during labor. Moreover, there may be a higher likelihood of complications such as placenta accreta, where the placenta grows too deeply into the uterine wall, which can be life-threatening.
Yasmeen lives in a modest rented home with her husband and three children. Her husband, the sole breadwinner in the family, works as a driver and brings in just PKR 25,000 per month. This income is insufficient to cover their house rent of PKR 5000 and utility bills of PKR 10,000, as well as grocery expenses. They are facing immense financial hardships. At times, it becomes challenging for them to even manage their essentials. Yasmeen’s much-needed C-section is costly, and they have no other means to pay for her surgery. During this challenging time, they turned to Transparent Hands and asked for help.
Yasmeen said in despair:
“I pray every day for a safe delivery because I don’t want to risk my baby’s life. I believe no mother should have to choose between delivering her baby safely and managing living expenses. I request your support to provide me with the C-section.”
Yameen’s only hope rests in your hands. Only you can provide her with the opportunity to safely welcome her baby into this world. Every contribution can make a meaningful difference in her life.
Open your hearts and give for Yasmeen’s C-section.
