Thirty one years old, Muhammad Junaid, is a resident of Swabi. He has been enduring lower back pain for the past thirteen years. Upon medical consultation, he was prescribed symptomatic treatment. However, the treatment didn’t work for him. Over time his pain got worse. After consulting the doctor again, he was diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis.

Ankylosing spondylitis is a type of arthritis that involves the vertebrae in the spinal column. It may affect the hip joints. Right now he is in severe pain due to an affected left hip joint. To ease his pain, the doctor hs advised him to undergo a left hip replacement surgery.

Due to Muhammad Junaid’s health condition, he is unable to earn a living. He lives in a joint family and completely depends on his brother for his basic needs.

Muhammad Junaid, a 31-year-old resident of Swabi, had been bearing the pain in his hip joints for the last thriteen years. Upon consultation, he was diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis. The doctor advised him to undergo a Total Hip Replacement. He was sent to Northwest General Hospital to get his left Total Hip Replacement by Dr. Khushnood Ali Baz on 19-10-2021. The hospital kept him under observation until he was seen progressing well. He was discharged after six days of hospital stay in a satisfactory condition. Junaid has now recovered
