Haleemat Samo, a 76-year-old widow from Matiari, Sindh, is suffering from pain in the upper right side of the abdomen. She is unable to enjoy healthy meals, as they are accompanied by nausea and vomiting. Recently, she visited a doctor at a nearby hospital and consulted a doctor. After conducting the necessary tests and investigations, the doctor diagnosed her with cholelithiasis. It is a condition characterized by the deposition of hard mineral deposits in the gallbladder. To relieve her symptoms, the doctor recommended a laparoscopic cholecystectomy. However, the cost of the surgery is overwhelming for her family.

If Haleemat does not undergo surgery, she may face serious complications, including:
