Iram Shahzadi's Story

Iram Shahzadi, a 28-year-old woman from Multan, is going through a challenging phase of her life. She is 29 weeks pregnant and anxiously waiting to welcome her child. Iram has previously undergone a C-section. Due to this, her current pregnancy is considered sensitive. Her doctor has advised that her baby must be delivered through a C-section to avoid serious complications. This surgery is essential to protect both her life and the life of her unborn child. However, the cost of the C-section is beyond her family’s means.

Not undergoing the C-section can lead to various complications for Iram. It may cause:

Iram is a housewife and lives in a modest home with her husband and one child. Her husband is an Imam and earns only PKR 20,000 per month.
