Majida Ali Raza's Story

Majida Ali Raza, a 32-year-old woman from Dadu, Sindh, is awaiting the arrival of her fourth child. Having already undergone three C-sections in the past, she knew the risks involved. Concerned about her well-being, she consulted a doctor at a local hospital. After performing a comprehensive examination, the doctor recommended C-section for this time too. Attempting natural delivery can cause various complications for both mother and the baby. Unfortunately, the cost of the C-section is beyond her family’s means. If Majida does not undergo the required C-section, she and her baby may face serious complications. It may lead to uterine rupture, excessive bleeding, and fetal distress.

Majida lives in a modest home with her husband and three children. Her husband, the sole provider for the family, is a daily wage laborer and makes just PKR 20,000 per month. This income is insufficient to cover their utility bills, and grocery expenses. After covering these expenses, they are left with nothing to set aside for Majida’s C-section. During this time of need, her family reached out to Transparent Hands and asked for help.

Majida said in despair:

“I have already gone through three operations for childbirth, and now the doctor has advised another C-section for my safety and my baby’s life. We live in a poor village, and my husband works hard every day, but his income is not enough to afford this C-section. Kindly help me during this time of need.”

Majida is relying on your generosity. Your support can fill her home with happiness.

We ask you to be kind and donate to Majida’s much-needed C-section.
