Muneeb Needs Heart Surgery to Survive
Muhammad Muneeb Ur Rehman's Story
Muhammad Muneeb Ur Rehman, a 4-year-old boy from Pakpattan, has spent his entire childhood struggling to breathe. Since birth, he has suffered from persistent shortness of breath and chest discomfort. Even simple activities like playing with his siblings or walking a short distance leave him breathless. Concerned about his deteriorating health, Muneeb’s parents recently took him to a doctor. After detailed diagnostic tests and a thorough evaluation, the doctor diagnosed him with a Large Perimembranous, Doubly Committed Subarterial Ventricular Septal Defect, a congenital heart defect that disrupts normal blood circulation. The doctor has advised DCRV-VSD repair and RVOT resection. However, his parents cannot afford the cost of this life-saving procedure.
Without surgery, Muneeb’s condition will worsen, leading to increased breathlessness and extreme fatigue. His heart may struggle to pump blood efficiently, putting him at risk of heart failure and life-threatening complications.
Muneeb lives in a small house with his parents and three siblings. His father works as a salesman, earning only PKR 25,000 per month. Their monthly expenses include PKR 3000 for utility bills and PKR 5000 for school fees. With a family of six to support, affording the cost of Muneeb’s surgery is impossible for them. Despite their best efforts, they are unable to gather the required amount for Muneeb’s surgery. During this challenging time, Muneeb’s family turned to Transparent Hands and asked for help.
With a heavy heart, Muneeb’s mother said:
“My little boy struggles every day to breathe. It breaks my heart to see him so weak when he should be running around and enjoying his childhood. I wish I could do something to take away his pain, but we don’t have the means to afford his surgery. Please help us save our son.”
With your help, he can receive the much-needed surgical treatment to grow up healthy and strong.
Your kindness can save Muneeb’s life. Please donate today and give this little boy the chance to have a healthy future.

Muhammad Muneeb Ur Rehman's Story
Muhammad Muneeb Ur Rehman, a 4-year-old boy from Pakpattan, had been struggling with serious health issues since birth. He suffered from persistent shortness of breath and chest discomfort that made even the simplest tasks exhausting for him. Deeply concerned about his condition, Muneeb’s parents recently took him to a local hospital for a thorough medical evaluation. After conducting detailed diagnostic tests, the doctor diagnosed Muneeb with a Large Perimembranous and Doubly Committed Subarterial Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD). To save his life and improve his health, the doctor recommended DCRV-VSD repair and RVOT resection. However, Muneeb’s family was unable to afford the surgery.
He lives in a small house with his parents and three siblings. His father works as a salesman and earns just PKR 25,000 per month. With this insufficient monthly income, the family struggles to make ends meet. Covering the cost of a high-risk, life-saving surgery was far beyond their reach. During this time of need, Muneeb’s family turned to Transparent Hands. His case was registered swiftly, and with the support of compassionate donors and the Pakistan Children’s Heart Foundation (PCHF), his surgery was made possible.
On April 30, 2025, Muneeb was admitted to the University of Lahore Teaching Hospital. Dr. Salman Shah successfully performed the DCRV-VSD repair and RVOT resection on May 1, 2025. After receiving post-operative care, Muneeb was discharged in satisfactory condition on May 3, 2025.
With tears in his eyes, Muneeb’s parents said: “Watching Muneeb struggle to breathe broke our hearts every day. We couldn’t afford the surgery and felt completely helpless. Your support changed everything. He’s now active, happy, and full of life. We can’t thank you enough for saving our child and giving him a chance at life.”
Since the surgery, Muneeb’s health has improved significantly. He now plays with his siblings and participates in daily activities without exhaustion.
Muneeb’s family is deeply grateful to you for this favor. You and the Pakistan Children’s Heart Foundation truly changed his life.
