Sadia Ahsaan's Story
Sadia Ahsaan, a 27-year-old woman from Kasur, is living with abdominal pain, nausea, and constant discomfort. Her days with her family are no longer peaceful, as pain has slowly taken over her routine. Even eating has become difficult for her, especially after fatty meals. It often leads to nausea, indigestion, and pain in the right side of her abdomen. Worried about her worsening condition, Sadia visited a hospital. After examination, she was diagnosed with symptomatic gallstones, a painful condition in which stones form in the gallbladder and can cause repeated abdominal pain, nausea, indigestion, and discomfort. To treat her condition and protect her from further suffering, the doctor has advised an Open Cholecystectomy.
If Sadia does not receive the required surgery, her pain may continue to increase, and her condition may lead to serious complications, including:

Sadia is a mother of two children. She lives with her husband, children, and parents in a small rented brick house in Beroon Kot Usman, Kasur. Her husband works as a labourer, and her mother-in-law works as a housemaid. Together, they earn only PKR 40,000 per month. This income is spent on house rent of PKR 15,000, utility bills of PKR 3,000, children’s educational expenses of PKR 1,500, food, and other basic household needs. With such a modest income and no other financial support, saving money for Sadia’s surgery is impossible for the family. Her husband wants to see her healthy, but his daily earnings are not enough to cover the cost of her surgery.
Sadia shared her pain in these words:
“I have been suffering from severe abdominal pain and nausea for a long time. It has become difficult for me to manage my home and take care of my children. My husband works hard, but our income is only enough for rent and daily needs. Kindly help me receive this surgery so that I can recover and live without this pain.”
