Extend a Lifeline to Mustafa by Supporting His Heart Surgery
Muhammad Mustafa's Story
Muhammad Mustafa is a 4-year-old boy from Peshawar, whose childhood has been overshadowed by a serious illness. Children of his age spend their days running, playing, and exploring the world around them. However, Mustafa struggles with breathlessness, chest discomfort, and low energy levels. Even mild physical activity leaves him exhausted. Concerned about his health, his family took him to a local hospital and consulted a doctor. After a thorough examination, the doctor diagnosed Mustafa with Transposition of the Great Arteries (TGA), Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD), and Bilateral Branch Pulmonary Artery Stenosis, a complex combination of congenital heart defects that affects the normal circulation of oxygen-rich blood throughout his body. To save his life, his doctor has advised open-heart surgery, including Arterial Switch, VSD closure, and Bilateral Pulmonary Artery Plasty. Without this surgery, Mustafa’s condition may continue to worsen, increasing the risk of severe complications and even heart failure. This surgery is essential to improve his heart function and help him live a normal life.
Mustafa’s family faces overwhelming financial hardships. He lives with his parents and four siblings in a modest mud house. His mother works as a laborer and struggles to support the entire family with a limited income. His father is currently unemployed. Meeting daily household expenses is already a challenge for them, making Mustafa’s surgery completely unaffordable.
With tears in her eyes, his mother said:
“My son has been fighting for every breath. As a mother, nothing is more painful than watching your child suffer and knowing you cannot afford the treatment. Kindly contribute to my son’s life-saving heart surgery.”
Muhammad Mustafa’s life can be saved with your support. Your generosity can become a lifeline for him.
Come forward and help Muhammad Mustafa undergo this much-needed heart surgery.
