You Can Relieve Shabana’s Pain Through Cholecystectomy
Shabana Zulfiqar's Story
Shabana Zulfiqar, a 58-year-old woman from Hyderabad, has been suffering from upper right abdominal pain for the past three months. This condition makes it difficult for her to carry out her daily activities. Along with this pain, Shabana frequently experiences nausea and indigestion, particularly after eating oily or fatty foods. As the condition worsened, Shabana visited a doctor for a proper examination. After conducting the necessary tests, the doctor diagnosed her with Cholelithiasis, a condition in which stones form in the gallbladder. To ease her pain, the doctor has recommended a Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy, a surgical procedure to remove the gallbladder.
If this surgery is not performed in time, Shabana may face serious health issues such as:
- Pancreatitis (inflammation of the pancreas)
- Inflammation or infection of the gallbladder
- Blockage in the bile duct that can worsen her condition
Shabana and her husband are currently facing severe financial hardships. She has no children, and only she and her husband live together. Her husband works as a painter. On average, he earns around PKR 15,000 per month. The couple lives in a rented house for which they pay PKR 10,000 each month. In addition, they spend approximately PKR 1,500 on utility bills. After covering these basic expenses, they are left with almost nothing to manage other necessities.
Shabana shared her worries as follows: “I have been suffering from abdominal pain and discomfort for three months. After undergoing diagnostic tests, I was told that I need gallbladder surgery to recover. My husband works hard, but we still face immense financial hardships. Kindly help me during this time of need.”
Your generosity can help Shabana receive the much-needed surgical treatment. By supporting her surgery, you can relieve her pain and give her the chance to live a healthier life. Step forward and help Shabana recover from Cholelithiasis.
